‘Writing Chinese Translation History’: Eleventh Young Researchers’ Conference on Chinese Translation Studies, organised by the Research Centre for Translation and co-organised by Institute of Translation History and Transcultural Studies, HNUST, was successfully held at CUHK on 12-13 December, 2024.

CUHK Library, co-organised with RCT, has chosen the 100th anniversary of Hawkes’ birth and the 60th anniversary of the University to bring before the public a selection of items from its rich and growing Archive, in an exhibition which showcases the strong connection between Professor Hawkes and the city.
